Meet our distinguished judges, the most qualified panel in Australia, each bringing vast expertise in pole, dance, theatre, and performance. Their diverse backgrounds and remarkable achievements uniquely qualify them to select our first Australian Pole Art Champion.
Kristy Sellars is a world-renowned pole choreographer and performer. She was the first in the world to incorporate video projection interaction with pole work which she is now most famous for.
After two years in a full-time performing arts course in Melbourne where she gained her Certificate 3 and first-year Diploma of performing arts, she ventured to L.A where she expanded her performance skill and knowledge at leading studios Millenium and Debbie Reynolds.
In 2007 she tried pole dancing and was instantly hooked. She founded PhysiPole Studios in 2009 which has grown to be the largest franchise of its kind in the world with 17 studio locations.
After numerous teaching and performing tours around the world she then had her three children and set herself a goal to enter Australia’s Got Talent in 2019 when her youngest was 6 months old.
Kristy went on to win Australia’s Got Talent and continued to expand her love of business creating a new e-commerce brand, ‘The Enviro Co’.
In 2022 she entered America’s Got Talent taking out 1st Runner Up. Was then commissioned to create two custom performances for the US Superbowl and has since been busy with many performances and projects in Australia and overseas
Bailey Hart is no stranger to the pole art scene and has captivated audiences with her mesmerizing and unique performances. Bailey's extensive knowledge of pole, theatre and dance combined with her passion for pushing boundaries and exploring new concepts, undoubtedly makes her the perfect addition to our panel of esteemed judges.
Bailey is a professional pole dance and aerial instructor with 16 years of teaching & coaching experience, and is the proud owner and head instructor at The Pole Park.
After studying a BA in Communications and Theatre Media, Bailey began teaching and performing full time. Not only did she have the pleasure of teaching at some of Sydney's premier pole dance schools for 15 years, but she has been lucky enough to take her knowledge of pole, aerial & dance around the world.
Bailey has been competing at a national and international level for the last 12 years and couldn’t be more excited to use her knowledge and skills to help crown the first ever Australian Pole Art Champion!
Lisa D has been poling for about 17 years, and judging since 2009. As a judge she has scored well over a thousand routines at all levels and across all genres.
As a co-owner of the respected PoleSphere online learning platform and the inspiring Pole Mamas courses and community, Lisa is dedicated to empowering and nurturing fellow pole enthusiasts.
Beyond her teaching, coaching, and MC roles, Lisa stands out as an exceptional performer with a unique and distinct style that pushes boundaries and embraces the contemporary side of pole.
Her unconventional artistic choices and deep passion for the craft have earned her industry recognition. She is so excited to be on the panel for the first-ever Australian Pole Art Championships.
With a solid 7 years of pole experience, Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. As a former classical ballet dancer, she discovered pole dancing as a way to embrace her creativity and athleticism within a vibrant community.
As a seasoned teacher at Love Pole Studio and the visionary behind Velvet Steel Health & Performance, Renee is not only a pole artist and instructor but also an Exercise Physiologist. Her dedication to helping pole dancers excel as high-performing and injury-resilient athletes sets her apart.
Drawing from her extensive background, Renee flawlessly infuses lyrical and contemporary styles into captivating performances.
